Part-Time School Speech Therapist - Austin, Texas

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential services within a middle or high school setting, with the option to work with elementary caseloads if preferred. This role is onsite in Austin, TX, offering the chance to support students' communication development in a dynamic school environment throughout the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across middle, high, or elementary school levels. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and modify interventions as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and sessions. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development. Qualifications: Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology or be eligible as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate. Experience with school-based speech therapy services is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents in educational settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas.
