Key Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for students Support student mobility, motor skills development, and functional abilities within the school environment Document progress and communicate effectively with therapists, educators, and families Participate in student evaluations and re-evaluations as directed Ensure a safe and supportive setting for therapy sessions Qualifications: Current and valid PTA licensure or certification Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in K-12 school settings Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards Location: Amherst, Massachusetts This contract role runs through the school year, providing meaningful engagement with students in a dynamic educational setting.
