Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role serving K-12 students in a North Bennington, VT school setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position involves supporting a caseload of 50 to 60 students primarily across two elementary schools or one middle school, providing specialized speech and language services to address diverse communication needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals and needs Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language instruction and therapy Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Collaborate effectively with school staff, external agencies, and families to support student progress Monitor and document student progress utilizing data-driven methods Supervise paraprofessionals when applicable to ensure effective service delivery Maintain consistent and clear communication with families regarding student goals and progress Qualifications: Current Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Meets Vermont state licensure requirements for school-based practice Ability to work in-person full-time within the school environment Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Strong collaborative and communication skills Location & Schedule: Location: Bennington, VT Contract Duration: Approximately August 27, 2025 - June 15, 2026 (aligned with school calendar) Hours: 37.5 hours per week This role requires dedication to helping students achieve their communication goals through comprehensive, individualized support.
