Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school in Santa Rosa, CA, for the 2023-2024 school year. This role involves providing evaluation and therapy services to children in a dynamic educational setting, supporting their speech and language development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Provide targeted therapy sessions focusing on speech and language improvement Monitor and document student progress with detailed, accurate records Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care Involve and educate families to support therapy goals and promote positive outcomes Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California This contract position offers a stimulating environment to apply your clinical skills while contributing to children's educational success.
