Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support to elementary-aged children at a school setting in Petaluma, CA. This contract role extends through the New School Year (NSY) period, focusing on evaluating and treating speech and language disorders to foster improved communication skills in young learners. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students experiencing speech and language difficulties. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that address specific speech and language objectives. Track and document student progress accurately to guide intervention strategies. Collaborate effectively with educators, specialists, and families to provide holistic care. Educate and involve families in understanding and supporting their child's therapy goals. Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support student and team interactions.
