Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed and qualified to work within K-12 educational settings. This contract position is located in Punta Gorda, FL, and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the development and communication skills of school-aged children throughout the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Provide targeted speech therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific communicative goals. Track and document student progress with accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive care. Engage and educate families, fostering their active involvement in supporting therapy outcomes. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure in Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly valued. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Florida. This role includes access to a dedicated advisory team comprised of experienced SLPs located within the state, ensuring ongoing professional support and development.
