Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elementary School Contract - Waterbury, CT We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification and school-based experience to support elementary students in Waterbury, CT. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY) and offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes Deliver direct therapy to elementary-aged students with speech, language, and communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school district policies and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations Desired Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA for Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP certification or licensure to practice in school settings Previous experience working with elementary school populations Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary educational environment Location: Waterbury, Connecticut
