This contract position seeks an experienced professional proficient in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and assistive technology to support students' communication and language development. Responsibilities include providing direct speech and language therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum, collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and integrating AAC and assistive technology tools into therapy sessions. The role demands adaptability to diverse student needs and active participation in team meetings and progress monitoring. Qualified candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, focusing on pediatric care within educational or healthcare settings. Experience working with AAC and assistive technology is essential. Candidates new to the profession, including Clinical Fellows (CFYs), as well as part-time applicants, are encouraged to apply.
