Our outpatient clinic, located in the heart of Dickinson, offers speech and language therapy in addition to occupational therapy. We have five individual treatment rooms and one large therapy gym complete with sensory equipment and every game you could imagine! Our team values collaboration and friendship. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, and daily living activities. Develop personalized treatment plans that transform therapy sessions into exciting adventures, targeting specific goals and milestones. Utilize a wide range of therapeutic activities and interventions, including sensory play, interactive games, aquatic therapy, and hippotherapy, to promote motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and maximize progress. Celebrate each milestone and motivate children to reach their full potential through positive reinforcement and encouragement. Provide guidance and support to parents, equipping them with strategies and activities to reinforce therapy goals at home. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in pediatric occupational therapy, incorporating evidence-based practices into your sessions. Foster a nurturing and engaging environment that makes therapy sessions an exciting Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and/or Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or OTA or willingness to obtain licensure within 60 day timeframe. Interest in Hippotherapy, Aquatic Therapy, and Making a Difference is a plus!
