School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Moreno Valley, California

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a K-12 school setting in Murrieta, CA. This contract role is ideal for those with strong, hands-on school-based experience seeking a full-time assignment from ASAP through early October.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language pathology services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist in assessing, developing, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support communication goals
• Maintain compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Valid California SLPA or SLP license required
• Demonstrated experience working in a school environment, preferably in K-12 settings
• Knowledge of speech-language development and common disorders in school-aged children
• Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational teams
• Candidates with clinic or hospital experience without school-based work are not eligible
• Candidates must be available to work on-site; virtual candidates will not be considered
