A high school in Park Forest, IL is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to students with mild to moderate language needs. The role will focus on individualized interventions and collaborative support within the school setting.
Position Details:Work Schedule: 3 days per week
Caseload Size: Approximately 2530 students
Grade Levels: 9th12th grade
Student Needs:
Mild to moderate language impairments
2 students using AAC devices requiring specialized support
Duties Include:
Direct therapy and progress monitoring
Speech/language evaluations and documentation
Participation in IEP development and meetings
Collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Requirements:Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Previous experience with AAC devices preferred but not required
