Graduate of accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.For Staff Preceptor RT/Clinical Educator, Quality Improvement/Safety Program RT, a minimum of three (3) years in neonatal/pediatric transport.
Required Credentials
Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registry Eligible with the National Board of Respiratory Care .BLS for Healthcare Providers or current PALS certification (PALS certification required within six (6) months of hire).Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be obtained within 3 months of start date.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP). Those without NRP will be required to obtain NRP during the orientation, but no later than 6 months from the start date within the position.Neonatal-Pediatric Transport (C-NPT).As per the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), for RT's performing moderately complex point of care testing, a copy of a diploma or transcript of the highest level of academic achievement to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.For personnel trained outside of the U.S., records of diploma/transcript must provide documented equivalency evaluation by a foreign credentialing agency.A current passport or WA Enhanced ID is a prerequisite to hiring.Those without a passport will be required to obtain a passport no later than three months from the start date within the position.Must have passport available during all shifts.Must carry passport on all transports.
Preferred
Bachelors degree in Respiratory Care or other health related field.Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential from the NBRC.
Compensation Range
$50.53 - $81.78 per hourSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
