Description

- Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions that prioritize language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to cultivate integrated care strategies.
- Equip patients and their families with education and resources to enhance progress outside of appointments.
- Participate in periodic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring holistic care continuity throughout the patient journey.
- Maintain timely and precise documentation that complies with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology.
Education
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA certification is pending.
Certifications
- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
