This contract position runs for the duration of the school year and involves supporting students in achieving their therapeutic goals under the guidance of a licensed occupational therapist. Key Responsibilities: Implement occupational therapy treatment plans designed to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress and facilitate classroom accommodations. Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with the therapy team and school staff. Assist in adapting classroom materials and environments to enhance student participation and success. Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or educational setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to follow treatment plans and maintain detailed documentation. Flexibility and adaptability to work within a school schedule during the academic year.
