Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract Job Title: Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Location: Remote (Serving students across Ohio) Job Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in Ohio . The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings, be proficient with teletherapy platforms, and be committed to supporting students' communication and academic success in a virtual environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring using evidence-based tools and procedures. Develop individualized goals and therapy plans tailored to student needs. Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with Ohio Department of Education and IDEA requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, families, and other related service providers, to support student outcomes. Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to IEP development and annual reviews. Educate families and school staff on strategies and supports to reinforce therapy goals. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations in a digital setting. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current, valid Ohio SLP license issued by the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology . Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC-SLP ) from ASHA. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based setting (virtual or in-person). Familiarity with teletherapy tools and online service delivery platforms. Strong communication, organization, and technology skills. Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, private workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using IEP software (e.g., ProgressBook, Frontline). Bilingual (Spanish/English or other languages) is a plus. Familiarity with diverse student populations, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, AAC needs, or language-based learning disabilities.
