Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the Rehab Team! The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, administering, and documenting occupational therapy services to patients 0-100+ years of age. This position administers treatments per established plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. The Staff Therapist assists patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine normal life within the constraints of their disability. This position coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff ( COTA , aide, etc.). The Staff Therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. This position provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines. The Occupational Therapist insures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis. The Staff Therapist participates in all departmental training and safety programs as required.
