Job Description
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy strategies designed to achieve their personal functional aspirations.
  • Facilitate Therapeutic Practices: Implement evidence-based methods to improve patients mobility, cognitive function, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to ensure ongoing improvement in-home environments.
  • Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, guaranteeing patients remain on the right path to recovery.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college/university
  • Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a necessity
