Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across different age brackets, utilizing standardized assessments alongside observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that focus on both immediate and sustained communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions that emphasize communication, language development, fluency, voice articulation, and dietary needs.
• Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to foster integrated care plans.
• Provide educational support and tools for patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical interactions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring that care remains seamless throughout the entire patient journey.
• Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with local, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of hire.
