Job Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Treatment Approaches: Assess patients needs and design tailored therapy plans to facilitate the achievement of their goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based strategies to improve patients motor skills, cognition, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand in hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy practices to aid ongoing recovery at home
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Track patients' clinical developments and modify treatment plans to ensure effective progress

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing professional development and additional certifications encouraged and subsidized

Certification Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Required NBCOT certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
