Job Description
  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and create individualized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure holistic and comprehensive care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide insights and training on therapy methods to promote sustained progress at home
  • Measure and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary, ensuring patients are on track for success
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Continued education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
