Job Responsibilities- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients individual needs and design personalized therapy plans aimed at achieving their functional goals
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapy methods to promote ongoing progress in the home environment
- Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify therapy approaches as necessary to ensure patients stay ahead
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Encouragement of ongoing education and additional certifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification is mandatory
