Occupational Therapist School Setting in Manassas, VA

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Provide occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting serving school-aged children from preschool through 12th grade. This full-time, contract position covers a full school year and is located in Manassas, VA, which encompasses a compact area of approximately 10 square miles with six schools in the district. The caseload will be approximately 70 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to support students' functional performance in the school environment. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's educational and developmental needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to promote student success. Document therapy services and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations. Utilize various service delivery models including in-person home health, teletherapy, healthcare, and school-based therapy. Desired Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience across home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school settings. Proven ability to manage a caseload of similar size effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with pediatric populations and school-based therapy requirements.
