Lab Assistant - School of Physical Therapy

To support the School of Physical Therapy Operations Coordinator with maintaining appropriate levels of equipment and supplies, set up, tear down, and proper functioning of immersion lab classes.

• Inventory and receiving all equipment and supplies for lab immersions in the BGSU warehouse
• Prepare carts with correct equipment and supplies for the move to Olscamp 101 close to time for the next lab immersion
• Help with the preparation of Olscamp 101 for each lab immersion
• Tear down and pack up all items for moving back to warehouse after each lab immersion
• Help with coordination of observing open lab during evening hours for DPT students
• Unpack and organize all equipment and supplies, once returned to the warehouse, for the next lab immersion
• Complete Secretarial duties within the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy main office as assigned in between lab immersion events

• High level Organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to work 20-28 hours a week during each two-week lab immersion
• Able to work 10-20 hours a week in between lab immersions
• Able to lift multiple heavy pieces of equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs, when preparing carts to be moved
