Occupational Therapist opportunity in Rochester, NY serving K-12 students through a full-time, school-year contract. This role supports a diverse caseload across two walkable campus sites, focusing primarily on elementary students with additional sessions in middle school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 30 students, delivering about 9 sessions daily.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEP goals within a supportive educational environment.
- Participate in team meetings and complete necessary administrative duties during paid indirect hours.
- Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to optimize student outcomes.
- Travel between two campus buildings as needed with paid itinerant time.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapy license required.
- Experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based OT services strongly preferred.
- Ability to thoughtfully manage a full caseload with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with school-based IEP systems and willingness to engage in provided training.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Location & Schedule:
- Rochester, NY area.
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Full-time with school-year contract duration.
