An opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive therapy services within a K-12 educational setting in San Francisco, CA. This full-semester contract position involves supporting a diverse student population, focusing primarily on middle school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to approximately 55 middle school students.
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track student progress.
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Utilize indirect hours effectively for administrative duties and participate in scheduled team meetings.
- Manage caseloads under a workload model to ensure balanced service delivery.
- Adhere to professional standards while using the districts designated IEP system; training will be provided.
- Provide therapy services in designated, well-equipped spaces conducive to student engagement.
- May involve supervisory responsibilities depending on qualifications.
