Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Southeastern United States region as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. This role involves conducting comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations and providing tailored treatment plans aligned with facility policies and objectives.
Education and Certification- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist credentialed by the appropriate state board.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year preferred; candidates with practicum experience in a medical center setting are encouraged to apply.
- CPR certification will be provided during orientation and must be maintained throughout employment.
- One to two years of experience working with communication and swallowing disorders is preferred.
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
- Near visual acuity for working with charts and records, and adequate hearing for speech comprehension.
- Completion of Functional Independence Measure (FIM) credentialing within 45 days of employment and maintenance of proficiency with a minimum score of 80% on FIM testing.
- Participation in evacuation training and orientation to safety protocols including restraint and seclusion procedures.
