Description

  • Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions directed at communication skills, language, fluency, vocal expression, and swallowing functions.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members, to design harmonious care plans.
  • Provide education for both patients and their families to encourage ongoing progress outside clinical encounters.
  • Offer patient evaluations and interdisciplinary therapy as needed, ensuring a smooth continuum of care.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation that aligns with all relevant state, federal, and institutional regulations.
  • Engage in continual professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet possessing ASHA certification.

Certifications

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) credentials must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
