Job Responsibilities

  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
  • Collaborate within Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, medical providers, and nurses to deliver complete and holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and their families about therapy methods to encourage sustained progress in their daily lives
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans accordingly, ensuring that patients are on the right path toward recovery
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
  • Encouragement and support for further education and post-graduate certifications
Licensure
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) certification
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
