Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital assignment requiring MN license eligibility and BLS certification.

• Work in an acute care hospital physical therapy unit
• Day shifts: 5x8 hours, 08:00-16:30, with every 4th weekend required
• No call required
• Patient care documentation using Epic; experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Primary duties include acute care physical therapy evaluation and treatment
• First-time travelers accepted for this assignment
• Must agree to work holidays as needed
• Maximum 7 days of time off allowed, with no RTO in the first two weeks
• Scrub color requirement is royal blue
• Applicants who have previously worked as permanent staff must be gone for at least 9 months before being eligible as travelers
• Medical or religious exemptions for vaccines require appropriate documentation

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Current or pending MN physical therapy license required; must apply upon offer if not already held (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Must reside at least 25 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted
• Willingness to complete required fingerprinting in person in MN prior to start date
• Commitment to complete labs within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Epic EMR experience preferred
