Description

• Deliver tailored one-on-one sessions addressing various aspects of speech therapy including language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work in harmony with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family caregivers, and loved ones to formulate seamless care plans.
• Provide education to both patients and family members to facilitate progress in everyday settings outside of your sessions.
• Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive continuity of care.
• Maintain timely and precise records in accordance with the required legal and organizational frameworks.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a clinical fellowship year if not yet accredited by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
