Description
- Assess patients of all agesincluding pediatric, adult, and geriatricwith standardized tests and keen observational methods.
- Create customized treatment plans tailored to meet both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions concentrating on communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing issues.
- Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teamsphysical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and familiesto forge comprehensive care strategies.
- Provide essential education to both patients and their families, equipping them with tools to support progress beyond clinical encounters.
- Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless and continuous care experience throughout the treatment continuum.
- Maintain thorough and prompt documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- The completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within 30 days of hire.
