Physical Therapist

A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in the Bronx on a Part-time basis. About the Opportunity: Shift: Day Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Part-time (20 hours a week) Setting: Psychiatric Health Facility Responsibilities: Act as a physical therapy consultant Assess and evaluate the client's condition to develop a physical therapy treatment plan based on a Physician's request Review clients' treatment goals, treatment, and medical history Perform and interpret standard muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests Administer appropriate physical therapy treatment when indicated Prepare documentation of assessment, evaluation, delivery of treatment services, and patient progress for the client's medical record Consult with the client's treatment team as needed Conduct a brace/shoe clinic as needed, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests Administer appropriate physical therapy treatment when indicated Evaluate patients for wheelchairs and adaptive equipment Maintain a performance improvement program related to structure, process, and outcomes Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience in a Clinical setting Active NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
