Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for rehabilitation and recovery

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, self-care, and daily living skills

• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams for holistic care

• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Support patients and families with education for continued success after discharge

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited institution

• Active California OT License (Required)

• BLS Certification (Required)

• Experience in inpatient rehab or acute care settings

• Strong skills in treatment planning, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration

Nice to Have Skills:

• Outpatient rehab or orthopedic experience

• Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology

• Knowledge of neurological and orthopedic rehab programs
