American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring Cerner experience and a minimum of 18 months of prior physical therapy experience.

Responsibilities

Position is primarily outpatient with 80-95% care performed in an outpatient setting; remaining care is acute and swingbed, similar to SNF
Work in a critical access hospital unit with 12 beds
Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 to 18:30, with every third weekend required and occasional Saturday on-call on a rotating schedule
No floating required for this assignment
Patient population may include ortho, neuro, wound care, vestibular, and pelvic health cases as appropriate
Cerner EMR experience is required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Black pants and royal blue polo are required for the uniform
Must work at least two out of three major holidays as part of the contract
Free parking is provided on site
Any permanent or PRN employee of the facility must be separated for at least 12 months before consideration as a traveler
Up to five days of non-holiday time off can be auto-approved; additional requests require approval
Local candidates are accepted for allied and surgical services positions
Main duties include providing physical therapy evaluations and treatments in outpatient and acute settings as needed

Requirements

Minimum 18 months of recent experience as a Physical Therapist
Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
Graduation from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE is required
IN or Compact PT license in hand prior to start date; license required if applicable
Cerner charting experience required
Two supervisor references are required for consideration
Physical therapist must have skills applicable to outpatient, acute care, and swingbed environments
