Pediatric Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elgin, IL

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year at an elementary school in Elgin, IL, specializing in early childhood through 2nd-grade student caseloads. This position is a contract role running from September through October, requiring 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in Early Childhood to 2nd grade.
• Manage caseload and individual treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy into the classroom setting.
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress records.
• Participate in meetings related to student development and therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) endorsement.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics, school-based settings, and teletherapy is a plus.
• Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology in a school setting, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for early childhood speech therapy.
