A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Mount Prospect, IL, serving students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and focuses on delivering speech and language services to support student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- State licensure or eligibility for SLP in a school setting.
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
