Job Description
Two Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available for the upcoming school year in Baton Rouge, LA, serving middle school students (grades 6-8). These are contract roles with 37.5 hours per week, supporting a diverse caseload across speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), health impairments, and severe/profound disabilities.
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.
- Document and monitor student performance and progress according to school guidelines.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Louisiana SLP license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, including those with diverse and complex communication needs.
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana Middle School setting.
