Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:
- Conducts comprehensive physical assessments and develops individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and promote overall wellness.
- Evaluate strength, coordination, balance, and other key functions to determine patients' abilities and support reintegration into daily life or the workplace.
- Treatment includes therapeutic interventions, patient education, and assistive devices, with ongoing revisions as needed.
- Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing physician directives.
- Collaborates closely with physicians and care teams to address urgent patient needs and ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $88,824.32 - $133,236.48 per year.
Workdays: This role is located in NE Portland. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, (7:30 am-6:00 pm), shifts may vary between 8 to 10 hours per day according to clinic needs and candidate preference.
Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field is required; a doctorate is strongly preferred.
- Must be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Oregon.
- Minimum 3 (three) years’ experience as a Physical Therapist is required. Minimum 5 (five) years of experience is strongly preferred.
- Specialty certification in orthopedics, women's health, neurology or cardiopulmonary is preferred,
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
- A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
