Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques to empower patients and their families, ensuring continued progress even after sessions end.
  • Evaluate Progress and Adapt Strategies: Regularly assess clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans to facilitate effective recovery.
Educational Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Continuing education or additional certification is encouraged and supported for professional development.
Required Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
