Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for diverse populations using both standardized assessments and observational insights.
• Create tailored treatment plans that focus on achieving immediate goals while addressing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that encompass communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing support.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing professionals, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise cohesive care strategies.
• Provide educational support to patients and families to encourage progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring consistency and continuity of care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through continual education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hiring.
