• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, communication, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
• Work in tandem with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to craft comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally carry out inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring seamless continuity in patient care.
• Keep precise and timely records that meet established guidelines and standards.
• Engage in continuous professional growth through educational opportunities and collaborations with peers.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those yet to achieve ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
