Job Responsibilities
  • Develop Customized Treatment Programs: Assess patients needs and create tailored therapy plans that enable them to meet their personal rehabilitation goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy methodologies to bolster ongoing improvement at home
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments and adjust treatment protocols as needed to keep patients on their rehabilitation journey
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Encouragement and support for continued education or post-graduate certifications
Licensure
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
