Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students in an educational setting. The position is based in Mcdonough, GA, and is offered on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY), starting as soon as possible through May 22nd. The role requires approximately 25-30 hours per week, primarily working with middle and high school students. The caseload includes around 60 students, with about half receiving ongoing speech therapy services and the other half benefiting from monthly consultations. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language assessments and deliver therapy services tailored to students' individual needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly Conduct consultative sessions for approximately 30 students monthly Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with educational and clinical standards Qualifications: Valid SLP license with current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with K-12 populations, especially middle and high school students Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams Benefits of this position include the chance to make a positive impact on a diverse student population within a supportive school environment and gain valuable experience in a varied clinical setting.
