This role focuses on supporting students' functional participation by providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Responsibilities include: Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students within the school environment. Monitoring student progress and documenting therapy outcomes. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress and functional goals. Participating in team meetings and contributing to student education plans as needed. Qualifications and Experience: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working within school-based occupational therapy settings preferred. Knowledge of K-12 educational environment and related therapy regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families. Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
