Physical Therapy Services is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join our team. At Physical Therapy Services, you are supported by the entire staff that believe in caring for the patients towards their journey of healing. The support you will receive will be from both the clinical and support staff to make sure that you have the right tools and hands on, on the job continuous training to succeed.
As a PTS member, you will provide quality Physical Therapy services in a bustling and diverse outpatient clinic patient to include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, provision of education, documentation, and patient/family communication for the purpose of assisting the patient in achieving optimal functional level, as well as quality of life.
And finally, the PT will work closely and collaboratively with the fellow Physical Therapists and PTAs to ensure the delivery of the best care plan for the patient by carrying through with the plan of care, toward patient-specific goals. Maintenance of accurate, timely, documentation according to regulatory and state license requirements, compliance and guidelines for content and timeliness within professional standards is an expectation.
Essential Functions:

Evaluate and analyze patient injuries and conditions to determine physical therapy needs.
Educate patients on their injury.
Explain to patients the different types of modalities that are available to treat their injury.
Ensure each patient has a current prescription, plan of care and prior authorization for care.
Work with patients to identify their therapy goals and to find ways of reaching those goals.
Job Activities:

Complete definitive evaluation.
Development and implementation of treatment plans.
Patient management and progression.
Chart Maintenance.
Supervision and appropriate utilization of support staff, to include, aides and LPTAs.
In-service presentations.
Ability to perform an evaluation on all joints and body parts.
Completion of paperwork by the end of the day, to include, chart notes, progress notes, and plan of care.
Communicating professionally with staff, patients and Physicians.
Charge for all supplies and services provided.
Staying on schedule.
Education and Experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist
Active and encumbered Oregon Physical Therapy License
Current BLS required
PTS offers the following benefits:
