Speech Pathologist Assistant in Brockton, MA

An opening for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is available to support an elementary caseload primarily working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract position begins in September and is designed to cover a leave absence. The role is based in Brockton, MA, within an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students with ASD under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to support student development.
• Attend relevant meetings and training sessions as required.
• Support a caseload managed two days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Experience working with children, specifically those with ASD or related developmental conditions.
• Ability to work effectively in a school environment alongside educational staff.
