Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge preparations, and recommended home exercises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a seamless approach to patient care.
Education
  • Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree.
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric therapy) are advantageous but not required.
Skills
  • Prior experience is highly preferred.
  • Able to treat patients with diverse medical and mobility challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills are a must.
  • Comfort using digital systems for charting and clinical documentation.
