Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Trenton, MI

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide coverage for a five-week leave at an elementary school located in Trenton, MI. This contract position spans the course of the current school year (CSY), with a start date of September 2nd and an end date in late September. Key responsibilities include: Providing speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload of approximately 45 students Delivering individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet diverse communication needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies and IDEA regulations Participating in team meetings and contributing to student intervention plans Qualifications and experience desired: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech therapy settings Ability to provide teletherapy services as needed Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable Previous experience working within school environments preferred Work hours for this full-time assignment are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This role offers the opportunity to impact young learners in an engaging elementary setting during a temporary leave period.
