Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services on a contract basis for the current school year. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, supporting their communication development and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grades Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to progress monitor and modify interventions Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and regulatory standards Provide support, education, and resources for students and families to enhance communication skills Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license Experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with educational teams Location: Mount Prospect, Illinois This contract position is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about impacting students' lives through effective speech and language interventions within an educational environment.
