Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a high school setting in Detroit, MI, starting September 2nd through the end of the school year. This contract position offers a 35-hour workweek, focusing on supporting students with speech and language needs in a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs. Provide direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as appropriate. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Document and report on student progress according to established guidelines. Participate in meetings related to students' individualized education plans (IEPs). Desired Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed. Strong knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology requirements and standards. Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate documentation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
